I love art and drawing. I attended a London art college back in the 80's and worked as a Graphic Designer for many years. 

 

My career path took a change in 2015 so I could be with our two dogs, Alfie and Poppy. I became a Dog Walker but never lost the drawing bug. I totally understand the love and bond between our pets and the joys they bring into our lives.

I started drawing pet portraits for friends and family and through word of mouth have produced many portraits and happy customers all over the UK and Europe. I now feel confident to offer hand drawn pet and human portraits at affordable prices to those who would like to own one.

I work from one main photo for each dog or cat. The photograph you supply is absolutely key as I am unlikely to meet your pet.

Photos taken in natural light, getting up close to your subject and not using the zoom are definitively the best. I find the more detail in the photograph, the better the portrait will be. Taking many photos means you can pick your favourite.  A good tip is to look for a photograph that contains a happy memory, you'll love the portrait more and it will make you smile.
